Q. Do I need to have my own plans?

A. No, CMC Custom Homes has relationships with area architects, so if you do not have your own plans, you can work with one of our architects to translate your ideas (from sketches, photos, or verbal descriptions) into workable house plans.

We also have a selection of CMC designs that you can choose from.

Q. How much does building a custom home cost?

A. In addition to the price of the land, the home price includes the cost of materials, management fee.

Q. Can you build my home in a master planned community?

A. No. Only specific builders are allowed to construct homes in master planned communities. At this time, CMC Custom Homes does not have any relationships with Houston-area master planned communities.

Q. Do I have to already own land?

A. No, CMC can work with you to choose land that fits your needs.

Q. Does CMC allow me to choose the fixtures, appliances, and other accessories that will be installed in my home?

A. Yes, CMC has relationships with several vendors with showrooms in the Houston area. Once your home plans have been finalized, you will be given an allowance that you can then use to choose your fixtures, appliances, and other accessories. This allows you to choose from hundreds of options to make your home truly your own. By using CMC, your choices are not limited to our imagination, but yours.

Q. Do you have any existing homes that I can purchase?

A. Yes, CMC has an inventory of completed, or nearly complete, luxury home that are available for purchase. If you are interested in learning more about our inventory homes, please contact us.
